As a young boy Rob thought he knew a lot about dogs. He would spend all day with them eating together and playing together just as if he was one of them. He soon realized that he didn't know everything about dogs when he tried to ride his dog like a horse and got bit in the face. After a scary visit to the hospital and a very big tetanus shot he had to rethink his concepts of what he knew about dogs. After owning and caring and working with many dogs, 10 years in the high tech field designing and rigging communication towers and 5 years as a volunteer firefighter, Rob realized that it was time to keep his feet planted on the ground and do something he has had a passion for all his life. So he took a 16 week course and became a professional dog trainer. After an intense training course, and Rob's own life experiences, he now has a greater understanding of the animals he has loved all these years and now shares this knowledge with other pet owners to improve their understanding of their dogs and improve their daily life with them as a result.
